In the United Kingdom, it is said that 1 out of 3 young adults are inked. In the entire country, the numbers are 1 out of 5. Either way, these statistics are significant. In the future, we can only expect the numbers to go up as more and more people get tattoos!

You know what’s really something to look forward to in the future?

When all the young ones grow old, how well are they going to wear their tattoos? Because no matter what we do, we’re all going to grow older. We can moisturise our skins all we want, but it doesn’t change the fact that our skins will eventually become old and wrinkled. Will our tattoos still look good then?

Well, apparently a lot of people don’t even bother waiting to find out because they’ve signed up for the painful and lengthy process known as tattoo removal (11% of tattooed folks, to be exact).

With the increasing popularity of tattoos come the rise of tattoo removals (tattoo removal clinics have increased by 400%!). And it’s not surprising really considering the fact that people get tattoos as a spur of the moment decision or a drunken decision. Tattoos should be thought out really well. It’s recommended to sit on your decision for a few weeks or months, and if at the end of the waiting period you still want one, then go ahead.

Just keep this fact in mind: about 70% of business owners do not want to hire tattooed employees. So, if you really, really want to get inked, make sure it’s someplace you can easily cover at work.
